SPM IS OVER!!! YAY!!
ok, now what are we gonna do next?
after 2 weeks of non-stop playing, i started to think about my future. as in where am i going next, what courses to take, and so on. then it really hit me that, unlike my other friends, i hadn't planned for my studies at the tertiary level. so i took a few days to collect as much information as possible about all choices to make my decision.
Cambridge "A" Levels
this course used to be my initial option. but looking it from other angles, i found out that A levels is purely exam orientated. which means it's like SPM, PMR, and UPSR, just that it's a lot more tougher and it is separated into 2. you can say it's a do-or-die kinda thing. so for me, it's no good because i hate exams.
South Australian Matriculation (SAM)
might be good, heard it's not so tough too, but not recognised by all universities.
ICPU
it's a twinning program, or something like that if i'm not mistaken, and you'll eventually end up in canada or something like that.
American Degree Transfer Program (ADP/AUP)
you basically study here for 2 years and 2 years abroad, most likely usa of course, as the name already suggested. you don't have to go through pre-u courses to get you're degree through this path, but it cost quite a lot, i mean a hell lot. this is my current choice because it offers aeronautical engineering and if i follow this path, i'll end up in embry riddle in florida. but this choice is very expansive and hardly affordable. T_T
Matriculation
free of charge, and the simplest path into local universities. but there are lots of negative news about this course that i don't wish to talk about here.
STPM
this is the last and the worst option. so to anyone who took up this course, have fun with it. but if your grades are superbly excellent, then the sky is yours.
